Welcome to Buckley Farm Barns – luxury barn conversions based on our farm in the village of Pentre. Surrounded by spectacular views of the Shropshire and Mid Wales countryside whilst being situated along the banks of the River Severn – an idyllic rural retreat.
Buckley Barns peaceful, rural location is also conveniently located between three historic market towns – Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Welshpool. All within a half hour drive.

The Barns
Traditional Brick Barns recently converted sympathetically, retaining the original features whilst offering spacious, contemporary
comfortable living. Each barn also has a private hot tub for guests to enjoy the breathtaking views.
Available to book by the week, mid-week or weekend each barn offers a relaxing stay.

Visit Shropshire
The national cycle route 81 is close by, and within a five-minute drive lies Nesscliffe Hills and the Cliffe Countryside Heritage Site. Home to a 70-hectare area of mixed woodland and heathland to explore; that’s about the size of 140 football pitches! There is a wealth of historical features and wildlife on the site and an extensive network of paths to explore.
Ten miles away is Shrewsbury, full of finds to be discovered by foot or by boat, the café culture, farmer’s market, the castle and the churches that dominate Shrewsbury’s famous skyline are a must see. Oswestry, where Shropshire meets Wales and only 11 miles away. It’s an ancient Shropshire market town, so close to Wales that you can enjoy exploring both sides of the border.
Wherever your mood takes you, there is something for everyone here. With, castles, farmers markets and countryside all available locally, there are endless amounts of activities to choose from.
